Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Telemetry Interpretation
- Telemetry monitoring
- Must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years. However, must have at least 1 year of CURRENT specialty experience for a clinical pass
- IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Starting and maintaining IVs, Oncology, Respiratory, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Additional Skills, see special equipment, Screen missing requirements
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Oncology experience
- Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of chemotherapy, Tracheostomy care/management
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests: RTO required with submission, must be built into contract
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekends - variable based on unit needs
- Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule
Floating Requirements: Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units
