Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience.

6 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

Stroke and STEMI certified, adult/pediatric combined ER
General emergency department (combined adult/pediatrics) work setting; cardiac monitoring and emergency response including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; IV therapy/phlebotomy including blood product administration, phlebotomy, starting and maintaining IVs; respiratory care including care of ventilated patients; professional topics including triage.

Preferred Skills/Experience: STEMI certified facility, stroke certified facility; medications including continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration/monitoring; neurological care including CVA (cerebrovascular accident), ICP monitoring, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury; pediatrics spinal cord injury.

Shift & Scheduling: Every 3rd weekend.

Floating Requirements: Will be expected to float to a free-standing 14-bed ER as needed.
