Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Cardiac Clinic experience within the past 12 months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

Cardiac Device Specialist - Required

Required Skills / Experience: If RN, must have cardiac rhythm experience

Experience with Paceart/pacemate

A working knowledge of the 4 major programmers (Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific, Biotronik)

Preferred Skills / Experience: Able to do programming checks

Required Credentials: If not RN, applicant must have IBHRE certified (International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners)

Certified Clinical Device Specialist (CCDS) credential

Associate Degree in related health sciences, or equivalent, with an Associate Degree in cardiovascular, cardiopulmonary, nursing or biomedical electronic sciences or a Bachelor’s Degree in cardiovascular/cardiopulmonary sciences beneficial.

Unit / Facility Details: Patient Ratio: 1/30 for remotes, 1/1 for stress tes

Special Requests: An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
