24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from last 3 months.

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Nurses in these units should have a strong foundation in med/surg nursing, be skilled in telemetry monitoring, and be adept at managing a diverse patient population.

Unit Structure and Ratios: Med 2 - 24 beds, includes patients with both med/surg and stroke care needs, med 2 functions as a combined med/surg and stroke unit, specializing in monitoring and supporting stroke patients Med 3 - 34 beds, designated as a general med/surg telemetry unit.

Patient Population: GI issues, cardiac conditions, renal conditions, confusion and altered mental status
