Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Psychiatric Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Alaska license

Shift or schedule requirements: There is no plan for the employee to work alone; weekends, evenings and an innovative scheduled may be required.

Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: 12 single rooms

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: 6:1 day shift; 12:1 night shift

Required skills and minimum years of experience: 2 years of experience in inpatient mental health nursing

Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: BERT, Team or similar
