Travel Nurse (RN) - Neurologic Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong assessment skills in Neuro

Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring would be needed.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience as Neuro Interventionalist a plus

Unit/Facility Details: An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Neuro unit with Neuro population from our Med/Surg ICU, this would include Stroke, TBI, Head injury, and Neurosurgery patients.

Main procedures would be Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures (i.e. line placement, intubation)

Neuro specific would include bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery and in future state caring for Neuro interventional patients

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend Every other holiday

Floating Requirements: Will float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units - possible float to other critical care units and other inpatient units as needed.
