Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a District of Columbia license

Radiation Oncology

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Required Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience

Oncologic Emergencies, Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS), Anaphylaxis, Extravasation injury, Hemorrhage, Sepsis, Spinal Cord Compression, Symptom management, Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea, Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy, IV Therapy/Infusions, Care and management of ports, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Neutropenic precautions, Tracheostomy care/management, Work Settings, Radiation Oncology, Radiation therapy, Radiation safety precautions.

Special Requests: No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment.
