Additional Details:

BJC policy: Every other weekend required.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Weekend REQ: Every third

Candidates will be expected to work in ICUs and also floors.

Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks.

  • Airway Management Devices/Suctioning required: Endrotracheal tube/suctioning, Extubation, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning
  • Medication Administration required: Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Inhaled Flolan, Inhaled steroids, Lidocaine, Nitric Oxide (INo), Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Xopenex
  • Medication Delivery Systems: Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Metered dose inhaler
  • Nebulizer required: Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar, Ultrasonic
  • Oxygen Therapy required: High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
  • Ventilator Management: BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation
  • ABG interpretation required

Scrub Color: medium to dark gray

RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review.

No RTO the first week of an assignment.

Holiday Policy: Any holiday time off is at the discretion of the Unit Manager and must be approved at the time of submittal.

Travelers can stay for a period of 12 months. Must take a 6 month break in service after 12 months

Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
