Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Shift & Scheduling: 36HRS or 48hrs NIGHTS, On Call/ Weekend Requirements: every other weekend required, no on call requirement

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of experience with conscious sedation, vents, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV start, and procedural sedation administration

Technology Used on Unit: First Net/Power Chart

Types of Patients on Unit: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

Unit Details: Number of Beds 45, Daily Census 120

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Staff Policy If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.

Required Credentials: Address must match DL when determining local status
