Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have L&D experience, as they will be primarily in L&D.
• NICU or PICU experience.
• Children's hospital experience in the last 3 years.
• Open to travelers whose experience is a level 1 adult facility.
• Skills: Medication Delivery Systems, Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Medication Administration, Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Mucomyst, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Tobramycin, Xopenex, Ventilator Management, BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Neonatal/Pediatrics - Equipment/procedures, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP, Airway Management Devices/Suctioning, Extubation, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal Suctioning, Pulmonary Hygiene, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy care/management, Nebulizer, Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Work Settings, Pediatric Critical Care

Preferred Skills/Experience: Skills: Bicarbonate, Inhaled Flolan, Nitric Oxide (INo), Heated, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Pediatrics, Servo U

Unit/Facility Details: Home unit of NICU, PICU, or Peds will be assigned once at the facility but can be changed based on the need of the facility.

Shift & Scheduling: 3x12's or 4x12's. EOW required.

Floating Requirements: May be assigned to PICU, NICU, and Peds, and floating to any of the 3 specialties can occur. May also float to IU Health North Hospital

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
