Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • RNs need to be able to mix their own medications & must be able to assist with respiratory meds/equipment/intubation. TNK etc.
  • RNs must read and interpret.

Unit and facility details: Nurse Patient Ratios: Based on many factors, 1:4 for stable patients, 1:1 or 1:2 for critically ill patients. Staffing level may dynamically adjust based on the influx of patients and their acuity.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Days/Nights Rotate.
  • Weekend Requirements: 2 out of 6 weekend requirement.
  • Is there call or a standby requirement? no call, OT opportunity if needed.

Floating Requirements: Based on staffing needs and skill set. Common areas ER staff might float to: Medical Surgical unit to assist in certain procedures/codes. Can be support staff in behavioral patients 1:1 - first to float.
