Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 yrs exp required (minimum) in ER of equivalent size.
• Abdominal pain, Asthma, Head injury, Hyperglycemia, Identify/Report neglect or abuse, Infection, Mental/behavioral health conditions, Respiratory infection, Seizures, Urinary tract infections, Acute psychosis, Drug overdose, Managing violent behavior, Suicidal patient, Blood Product Administration, Starting and maintaining IVs, Care of Ventilated Patient, Chest tube insertion/management, CPAP/BiPAP, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Intubation, General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Shock/Trauma, Gunshot wounds, Traumatic amputation, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Isolation Precautions, Triage.

Preferred Skills/Epxerience: Burns*, Epiglottitis*, Near drowning*, Poison ingestion*, Sickle cell crisis*, Skin Disorders*, Spinal cord injury*, Psychiatric Hold*, Central line care/management*, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors*, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring*, Interpretation of dysrhythmias*, Management of dysrhythmias*, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure*, Manage / apply splints*.

Special Requests: RTO required with submission, expect to work some holidays.
