Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience within the past 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Peripheral IV, Stroke, SEPSIS, STEMI experience.

Required Credentials: Handle with care of de-escalation training

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Population: Various aged patient population.

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds: 20. High paced, high acuity, rural emergency department.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends: Every Other.

Floating Requirements: The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
