Requirements
Experience
18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Illinois license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: PICC line management and experience with Starting IVs is required. Blood Product Administration, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Colostomy care and management, Feeding tube care and management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), PCA, Surgical drains, Tracheostomy care/management, Wound Care/Wound Vac

Preferred Skills/Experience: Must be willing to take trach and laryngectomy patients - experience not required but must be willing to learn and take these patients.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation.

Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Only able to request 1 winter holiday off.

Shift & Scheduling: 3x12 or 4x12 Days (0645-1915), Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend. If requested time off falls on weekend traveler would be scheduled per rotation, traveler will be scheduled additional weekend to make up for time away.
