Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

10 months of Endoscopy experience is required.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

Additional Details:

GI Lab / Endoscopy

Canadian Candidates: Required to have a US SSN to apply.

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on the license needed for the job.

Shift & Scheduling: Day/evening shift 0630 to 1500 or 0800 to 1630 variable, All procedural staff takes call every 6th weekend for the whole 48 hours, unless they switch with other staff. Also looking for experience with staff with interventional GI procedures.

Required Skills/Experience: Will take OR nurse who has Endoscopy Training/ experience or sole focus on Endoscopy.

Unit Details: The GI RN works with Outpatients and Inpatients at both campuses and takes calls for Endoscopy.
