Required Skills/Experience: Skills: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Oncology, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nasal Cannula, Tracheostomy care/management, Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, PCA, Titrate Cardiac drips, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Isolation Precautions, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry, Plastics, Additional Skills, High Acuity PCU, Screen missing requirements

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• 2 years of oncology experience.
• Skills: Arterial line management, Phlebotomy, Chemotherapy Administration, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Non-invasive airway management, Management of dysrhythmias, Wound Care/Wound Vac, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Surgical drains
• Teaching Hospital experience.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Unit/Facility Details: Medical Oncology with progressive care beds/pediatric patients. High acuity of PCU and small amount of med surg.

Special Requests: RTO required with submission, must be built into contract.

Shift & Scheduling:

• 13-16 weeks assignment.
• Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule

Floating Requirements: Float to other PCU or MedSurg Oncology units.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
