Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

22 months of Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Additional Information

Additional Details:

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

SICU/ONCOLOGY

Oncology experience preferred, but not required.

Patient Age group: Adults

Patient Diagnoses: Hemorrhagic shock, Hypovolemic shock, Sepsis, Septic shock, Pneumonia, ARDS, Craniotomy, Ischemic stroke, Hemorrhagic stroke, Intracranial hypertension, Delirium

Special Procedures/Unit Details: External Ventricular Drain management, ICP monitoring, Massive Transfusion Protocol, Mechanical Ventilation, Heated High Flow Bipap, CPAP, Tracheostomy management, CRRT, Vasopressors titration

RTO required with submission

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more

Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location

2 Years of ICU Experience Required.
