Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: Every other weekend.

Additional Notes: May occasionally be required to float to IMCU, NPCU and/or Surgical.

Must Have Skills/Experience: Life Pak, Zoll, Masimo

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Chest Pain, A-fib, CHF, Pre & Post care for cardiac caths (groin & radial), VATS

Patient Population: Generalized cardiac patients ranging in ages from young adult to elderly adult.

Dress Code: You may wear any scrub colors you would like.
