ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they'll be reporting to.
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
Required Skills/Experience: Recent med/surg experience
Preferred Skills/Experience: Charge nurse experience; telemetry experience (in case they float to other units within the hospital) no to first time travelers
Required Credentials:
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Post op, sepsis, pneumonia, COPD, diabetes, infection
Unit/Facility Details: # Beds 22 private rooms
Special Requests: Travel Teams must have their own vehicles
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement 3 weekend days per pay period, same requirement for travelers; Weekend days are Sat/Sun, Holiday Required
Floating Requirements: Other med/surg/tele areas; travelers are first to float. ICU RNs take ratio of 1:3
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
