Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 9 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

IV Therapy Certification (Required)

Proof of Identification

Driver's license required

Additional Details:

Special Requests: No block scheduling requests.

Floating Requirements: : Med Surg, telemetry (if certified)

Preferred Skills/Experience: -Trauma experience -Telemetry experience

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend -Must be able to start within 4-5 weeks to apply

Equipment Used on Unit: – telemetry (bedside monitors), vein finder, bladder scanner, EKG machine, Doppler, Hoyer Lift, glucometer, pulse ox, scales, wound vac
