Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience within the past 6 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months.

Required Skills/Experience: RNs must be able to interpret EKGs.

Required Credentials:

Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48hrs prior to acceptance of a position. Maximum attempts is 2.
**There will be a Pass/Fail exam on day 1 of orientation, with an emphasis on sterile field. Study materials will be provided with first day instructions, so please make sure travelers are up to date on proper sterile techniques.

Types of Patients on Unit: Post Cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele. Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, Dobutamine to titrate down ONLY. No pediatrics, 15 y/o and older.

Unit Details: 32 bed

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: To similar or lower acuity - first to float.
