Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
36 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a California license
Certifications

PALS (Required)

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday

Holiday Requirements: 1 major and 1 Minor

Floating Requirements: First to float, to the Nursery and pediatrics (sister unit)

Level of NICU Level III

Beds: 26 beds

Nurse Patient Ratios: 1:2 1:1

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: premature- sepsis, surgical- gastroschisis, evas, vented rarely- nasal cpap, rare oscillatory

Experience or 'Must have' skills: must have experience with the drips below, and have experience in a level 3 NICU

Are RNs required to titrate drips? dopamine, dobutamine, versed, fentanyl
