Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 36hrs per week

May be asked to float to another location should there be a need: Will be pre-scheduled and trained

12 hours non-billable orientation for first work week

Guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation

Previous solo intubation of neonatal experience

Delivery experience with intubations of Neonates.

Willing & able to float to adult care & ER

General Job Duties: Level III NICU care of neonates to include high risk deliveries, C-sections, neonatal resuscitation, intubation, mechanical ventilation, nasal cpap, blood gas draw and analysis. Also will include pediatric respiratory care. We have a high utilization of protocols and the respiratory therapist has a lot of autonomy.
