Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 36 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license

ACLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• 3-5+ years experience

• Candidate must be able to scrub & circulate for all types of CVOR cases

Preferred Skills/Experience: Community Hospital Experience, Teaching Hospital Experience, Previous Charge Experience

Required Credentials:

• PA Fingerprints are required and may require travel time (over 100 miles).

• BLS & ACLS: AHA Instructor or Provider, ARC, Military acceptable

• Drivers License/State ID: Government issued photo ID

Special Requests: Interview Availability – Please provide a range of 3-5 days for potential interview times (travelers with provided interview times will be prioritized)

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend and weekday call required: M-Fri 3:30p-7a & Weekends 7a-7p, 7p-7a, or 7a-7a

• On call is based on need of department. Typically 1 weekend per month and 1 day per week.

• Weekends are Sat/Sun.

Floating Requirements: Floating required as needed to general OR.
