Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Required Skills/Experience:

High risk unit, couplet care. Must be willing to do it all from start to finish. Must circulate c-sections & feel comfortable in all aspects of LDRP.
RNs required to titrate drips: Pitocin.
Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips on moms in PACU only.

Required Credentials: References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Unit and facility details: Ratios 1:3-4 couplets, LD anywhere from 1:1 to 1:2 , 1:1-3 antepartums.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and rotate with staff on holidays; If placed on call - response time is 30 minutes.

Floating Requirements: Must be able to float to MB and be able to circulate c-sections. All other Sacramento facilities. Mid-shift float to another facility is rare, but can happen. No in house floating. First to Float.
