Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 22 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

NIHSS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

All RNs (all specialties) must have NIHSS & EHAC within last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding.

If candidate resides in one of the restricted counties, they are not eligible for assignment. Restricted Counties-Delta, Franklin, Red River, Hopkins, Bowie, Morris, Titus, Cass, Camp, Rains, Upshur, Marion, Van Zandt, Smith, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, and Panola.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: • O2 protocol management • Non-invasive airway management • Peripheral line care/management • Isolation precaution/PPE • Computerized documentation

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience. Community Hospital Experience.

Required Credentials: Drivers License/State ID. BLS ACLS must be AHA, RQI, ARC, or American Safety and Health Institute
