Requirements

Experience

18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Illinois license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Previous Employment Requirements: Any PERM or PRN employee of Memorial must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler

Required Skills/Experience Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience required

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred

Required Credentials: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission so we can seek approval prior to offer

Lab appointment, Docusigns and Badge Photo must be completed within a minimum of 1 week signing the contract

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Required Cardiac Cath Lab Procedure Experience: Circulate Procedures, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, Left heart catheterization, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Right heart catheterization.

Required Medication Experience: Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring.

Required Professional Skills/Experience: Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Monitoring Procedural Sedation.

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics

Unit/Facility Details: Average Daily Census: 25.

5 room unit.

Special Requests: Block Schedules: No

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend REQ: Will work 2-3 weekends per contract.
