Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit

Block scheduling can not be guaranteed.

36-hour guarantees only (no 48s) – can pick up additional shifts

Must work 2 of 3 major holidays.

Travel pairs cannot request the same schedule

Cannot have an employment gap in the past 4+ months.

Weekend Requirement: Every other

Holiday Requirement: Typically 2/3 holidays.

Floating Requirements: Med Surg and ICU- for stable patients.

RNs are not required to titrate drips.

Ortho - all, abd pain, COPD, overdose, ETOH, weakness, psych, surgical. Occasional chest tube, trachs, peritoneal dialysis patients.

RN will need to ID significant anomalies and alert care team as necessary.

Number of shifts of unit/department specific orientation: One NEO, one clinical ed/EPIC, one day floor.

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
