No on-call
No RTO during Sturgis Bike Rally (first 3 weeks in August every year)
Required Skills/Experience:
Experience with the above-mentioned patients. If traveler has experience outside of this specialty – please include this is your offer details
Experience with IV medications (vasopressors, sedation, paralytics), hemodynamic lines, proning, ventilator management, telemetry, comfortable in fast pace setting with all critical patients.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
2 years of ICU experience, EXCLUDING travel experience is most preferred
If they have 1.5 years of ICU experience EXCLUDING travel and have significant RN experience outside of ICU, please have CRT send to management team for approval
Cardiac experience is preferred (not required): CABG/TAVR – 24 to 48 hrs post op experience is preferred but not required for travelers
Will not take fresh open hearts unless they are experienced, and the facility felt comfortable with this – given to permanent staff
Impella, IABP and CRRT
Types of Patients on Unit:
Complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac (preferred), neuro and trauma
Diagnoses include but are not limited to: ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, s/p cardiac cath, post-surgical, multiple system trauma – heavy trauma population
Required Credentials: Must have copy of Photo ID
Previous Employment Requirements: Permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler

Floating Requirements: ICU RN qualified to float to ED. Not common unless overstaffed. Could float to any adult floor – including Medsurg/Tele with 1:4 ratio. Confirm traveler comfortability during interview
