Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

36 months of Cardiac Transitional Care Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Can submit with a block scheduling request - The facility will always try and honor, but never guarantee.

Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36

Float Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed

Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday

Must be able to pass EKG test 1st week of hire

Minimum Experience: 2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience required

Must have 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU)

Candidates cannot move forward in the interview process without experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips

Unit Information: Intermediate cardiac stepdown. Fast paced, high patient turnover. Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e. detox, DKA, COPD exac, resp failure.
