Travel Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Must have recent experience at a Level One Trauma Facility.

Please note that should you receive an offer for this position, you will have 48 hours to accept/decline.

Must be willing to fulfill a full 13 week contract.

Candidates should expect to work 2-3 of the 4 Summer Holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, and Labor Day).

Any RTO should be provided at time of submission to be considered.

No Blocking Schedules

Combined PCU and MS unit. Will be expected to float between the 2.

Emphasis is on neuro patients but will get overflow patients.

Must be trained on EMU for monitoring and interviewing of epilepsy patients.

Weekend Coverage: Every Other

Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics

Daily Census: 19

Must pass EKG Onboarding, Math, Med/Pharmacology, Progressive Care competency, Progressive Care skills, CORE exams

Return Staff Policy: Gone for 90 days to return as traveler

BLS, ACLS - RQI accepted

License Hits: University of Kentucky WILL NOT accept any licensure hits.
