Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Special Request: No Block Scheduling requests. Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Shift & Scheduling: 2 weekends/month, 1 summer holiday

Float Requirement: C/L employees float as needed, typically to other ICU’s but can include other floors.

Equipment Used on Unit: Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, Alaris IV pumps

Skills Required:

Strong critical care experience.

Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required

Experience: Preferred experience with IABP, Impella,

Equipment Used on Unit: Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS. Perform central line insertion, swan insertion, intubations, etc. on unit.

Unit Details: 16 bed CVICU with 5 full time surgeons performing high volume and advanced cardiac surgeries. Specialize in post-operative cardiac surgery care and devices. Intensivist assigned to unit 24/7.
