Requirements

Experience

18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.

ASN completion required

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Cardiology - Required

Required Skills / Experience: 1 year of experience in Cardiology

Cardiac rhythm interpretation; Cardiac post-procedural experience

Must be comfortable titrating gtts – insulin, heparin, Cardizem, Amio, Aggrestat, pressors

Required Credentials: Education: ASN/BSN

Unit / Facility Details: Parking: Free, on site

Shift & Scheduling: 36 or 48 hours are available.

On-Call Requirement: None

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Travelers will work 75% of holidays

Schedule Cycle: Every 6 weeks

Floating Requirements: Within the cardiology division first, then to any med-surg unit within the hospital. Centralize telemetry.
