Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 22 months of Oncology Clinic experience.

Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Shift & Scheduling: No Call/No Weekends

Special Requests: No Block Scheduling.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience, Teaching Hospital Experience, Community Hospital Experience, LTAC Experience

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics

Unit Details: Daily Census 200, Number of Visits Per Day 45, Number of Rooms 34, Number of Beds 34

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Kidney, prostate, bladder, and other GU related cancers. We have med onc and surg onc capabilities. Therefore, we give chemo shots, but we also do biopsies and small in clinic procedures.

Equipment Used on Unit: Bladder scanners, uronavs, fluro scans, and other biopsy equipment.

Previous Employment Requirements:

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more

Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location
