Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

12 months of Step Down Unit experience is required from last 3 years.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Illinois license

ACLS (Preferred)

Additional Information

Additional Details:

Scheduling: Expected to work every other weekend, every other holiday where applicable.

Block booking and Schedule patterns are based on department needs.

Guaranteed hours: 36

Minimum of 1 year ICU experience highly recommended.

Shifts – 7a-730p or 7p-730a.

Call would most likely not be required for travelers; we work every 3rd weekend.

Floating would be to other cardiac stepdown unit; adult gen med units; ICU if has ICU experience.

Travel RN to care for same RN to patient ratio as unit they are floating to (4-6:1 gen med, 2:1 ICU).

Dress Code: Any non-pediatric scrubs are fine
