Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 4 years.
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Nevada license

Shift & Scheduling: EOW. Holiday Requirement 1 Major 1 minor.

Required Skills/Experience: Delivery room, ventilator management; IV-PICC management. Post-op recovery care. RNs required to titrate drips- Yes-with pharmacy. RNs read strips- Every infant on continuous monitoring.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year.

Types of Patients on Unit: Premature infant 22 wks and greater, Resp distress, sepsis. Feeding S Growers and feeders; Neonatal abstinence management Eat sleep and Console G-Tube and colostomy management

Unit/Facility Details: Level 3 NICU/Nursery. Beds 26- Mixed Level 2 and Level 3. Ratios: 1:2-Level 3. 1:3 Level-2.

Floating Requirements: Floating to Peds Infants 28 days or younger-tasking throughout the hospital.
