Requirements

Experience

18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.

ASN completion required

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: 2 years of strong Level 3 and/or Level 4 NICU experience

Required Credentials: Education: ASN / BSN

Shift & Scheduling: No call for travelers, if the NICU cannot utilize them, they may be floated to similar units as listed

Weekend Requirement: Will be required to work 2 Fridays and 2 Mondays, plus every other weekend (Sat/Sun) every 6-week schedul

Travelers will work holidays as scheduled

The combination of the 2 Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays can be grouped together or worked separately as long as those eight (8) shifts occur within the 6-week period

Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks based on unit needs after team schedule is completed/approved. Clinical Supervisor will provide dates of needs.

Floating Requirements: Neonatal PCU Gen Peds – will float as needed to Pediatric CVICU, PICU, and general Peds unit as a helping hand unless they have prior experience in any of these populations
