Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Preferred 24 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Floating Requirements: To NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and MS as needed.

Special Requests: First time travelers will be considered on a case by case basis. Typically unit wants first time travelers with more than 3 years of experience and Level 1 Trauma experience.

Redirect for exp less than 1.5 years. Can screen for 1.5-2 years of experience.

No Block Scheduling.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have PICU exp noted in work history. Please screen if only CVPICU experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience

Types of Patients on Unit: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Pediatrics

Previous Employment Requirements: Cannot have worked perm for Nationwide for at least 2 years
