Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Electrophysiology experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

Shift: Monday - Thursday

Skill Sets: Circulate/monitor ablations/scrub. Must be able to work with stimulator during ablations, pacing during ablations.

Devices: Afib, Flutter, EP study, Watchman, Pacemaker (everything except watchman)

Systems Used: EPIC/ Cupid, MicroPace, MacLab, Carto 3D mapping

Work Experience: 1 year RN experience in telemetry, critical care, cardiac Cath lab, ER, or OR (required)

Will consider qualified EP techs as well - RCES or RCIS or ARRT-RT(R) preferred

Looking for someone who can do at least two of the three: Monitor, Circulate, or Scrub

IR experience preferred, but not required

Running stimulator/pacing equipment is highly preferred but not required

EPIC/CUPID experience preferred

Critical Care Course (preferred)

RN MUST pass Advanced Arrhythmia Exam at Orientation (Study Guide Available in Simplify Library)
