Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: Must have general experience

Large (500+ beds), academic, teaching hospital experience

A minimum of 2 years OR RN experience with recent experience and high competency in cardio vascular/open heart OR

Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable

Unit / Facility Details: Public Transportation is not accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April.

Shift & Scheduling: Assignment for 16 -32 weeks

4x10 days (0645-1715) or 3x12 days (0645-1915)

With one/two 12 weekday calls - 1900-0715 and usually only one during the week unless short staffed

Must be flexible with schedule to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.

Then one full weekend of call every 5 weeks.

Monday - Sunday

Floating Requirements: May be required to float to other OR suites (general, ortho, neuro, ENT, etc) - if floated then you will be circulating, but not required to scrub

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
