Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 12 months of Operating Room experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license

Additional Details:

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license from any point in the past.

Shift & Scheduling: 13-26 week contract. Sat Sun Mon (Sat/Sun 07:00 to 19:30 Monday 06:30 to 19:00). On call schedule could be up to (2) 7-11s per month, (2) 7p-7as per month. Holiday call is 1 working 1 call a year - usually 8 hours each.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have strong Neurosurgery experience- facility sees a lot of craniotomies and broken backs so the traveler must be confident handling emergency neurosurgery independently.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: RN's will be involved in a wide range of surgical cases, from routine to urgent and trauma procedures.
