Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of PCU Float Pool experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license

Additional Details:

MS/Tele/PCU Float Pool

An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Required Skills/Experience: At least 1 year in PCU setting

Required Credentials: Clinician must take and pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing contract

Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Shift & Scheduling:

Weekend Requirements: Every Other
Holiday Requirements: Will include travelers in perm staff rotation.

Floating Requirements: MedSurg Tele and PCU across both campuses and would include inpatients holding in ED. East Campus is Campus 2. East Campus NextCare is 10 bed double occupancy has ICU and stepdown patients, West campus Stepdown is 14 rooms (double occupancy), average census is 20. West med tele is 95 beds, divided into 4 areas. MedSurg is broken down into 10-room pods, double occupancy.
