Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

ACLS (Required)

NIHSS (Required)

Additional Details:

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend: Rotating

All candidates are required to float

Patient Ratios: 1/2 (1/3 if low acuity)

Must have (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role):

General ICU experience.
Titration of drips

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first)

Neuro ICU experience, assessment skills
CABG, CRRT, Prisma Flex
