Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

9 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from the last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Patient Ratios – 1:2, can fluctuate with acuity - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed.

𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁: GE fetal monitor system.

EMR – CPN, Meditech

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀/𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:

Ability to care for both low risk and high risk obstetric patients.

Ability to circulate a c-section.

Strong patient experience skills.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀/𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:

Comfortable with unblocked/unepiduralized patients.

Strong collaboration skills with physicians, midwives, and doulas.

Mom/Baby, couplet care experience.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀/𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀/𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁:

Cerclages, versions, c-sections, vaginal deliveries, D&C’s, care of fetal demise, epidurals.
