Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Cath Lab

BJC policy: Every other weekend required.

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: Note: EP experience required -Circulate, Conscious Sedation, Scrub, Telemetry Required

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: -Candidate: EP specific experience. Procedures include ablations, pacers, ICD, EP studies and LAAO. Scrub, circulator, & documenter experience preferred. Technology: GE CardioLab, EPIC, Carto, Navx, Cryo, Bloom/Micropace stimulators. Knowledge of stimulator operation for intra-cardiac pacing protocols & conduction intervals preferred.Avg. Daily Census 4-8 EP procedures per day Looking for experienced EP nurse who is comfortable circulating, monitoring and scrubbing EP cases and implants. Biosense Webster Mapping system 2 EP rooms 3 EP providers -They will need to be proficient in scrubbing, circulating and monitoring ablations, implants (ICD, Pacemaker and CRT), leadless pacemakers, LAAO, EPIC documentation, Carto and NaVX mapping systems, Bloom and Micropace stimulators, GE Cardiolab, Cryo and PFA.

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults

Previous Employment Requirements: -Return Staff Policy (ex: gone 1 yr or 6 months to return as traveler) – -Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler. -All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75 mile radius) can stay for an 18 month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.
