Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.
Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date.
This is a variable contract - nights or midshifts (10a-10p).
Patient Types: Neonates to Geriatrics General ED patients to include, but not limited to: Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Behavioral Health, etc.
Patient Ratios: RN – 1:4 (variable upon patient acuity within department)
Skills required: Please ask all travelers about charge experience and include in the offer info if they have/have not worked in a CRN capacity.
EKGs, IV starts, familiarity with TNKase administration, nebulizer treatments, initiating Bipap, suture removal, assisting with casting, vent management.
Orientation: (facility and unit) Two days of hospital orientation (including time within the department on these days) 1 day with preceptor
Scheduling: Weekend rotation: Every other
