Requirements

Experience

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement: Will fill in if there is a need.

Floating to like units between our local hospitals- Meridian Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center is required.

Travelers are first to float. Med/surg floats to med/surg units when needed. Not super common.

Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided: No specific color as long as clean and professional.

How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: 1 shift for unit specific orientation that follows hospital orientation and 1 didactic day with our educator to review unit specifics.
