12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Cardiac Transitional Care Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Stepdown Cardiac

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend

Call as needed

Floating Requirements: As Needed/ Resource Team

Required Skills/Experience: Tele/ Cardiac Step-down

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Intermediate Cardiac Care Bedside and Telemetry monitoring. 20 Acute MI, ACS, Pulmonary Edema, CHF. Arrhythmia, Chest Pain Post op Carotid endarterectomy and stents Post AAA Post PCI, Interventional Cardiac Cath with Arterial lines IV infusion.

Types of Patients on Unit: Serves all ages.
