Requirements

Experience

24 months of acute care experience within the past 2 years.

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience with 12 months within the past 24 months.

12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience:

RN must be competent in Robotics (Davinci Xi), PCNLs, Nephrectomy's, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomy's, Cystectomy's, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopy's and Ureteroscopy's.

Preferred Skills/Experience: General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular.Special Requests: Travel Pairs are not accepted.

Unit/Facility Details: We are seeking an experienced (minimum 3 years level 1 trained) Travel Nurse to join our team specializing in Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures at our Level One Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in surgical nursing, exceptional patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-stress environment.

Shift & Scheduling:

Weekend Hours: 1:4 weekends, 12 hour shifts.
Call Requirements: one overnight call, 11p-7a for Trauma call, if on a specialty team, call will be scheduled per specialty team rules (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho).
