Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Mother/Baby experience.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license

NRP (Required)

CBC (Preferred)
Vaccinations

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years L&D experience or 2 Years Postpartum/GYN experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: Level 2 nursery baby experience

Unit/Facility Details: Postpartum/Couplet care: generally, 1:3 couplets. If needed, we flex up and take on a Nicu mom or max 1:4 couplets

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Shift Times: 12-hour shifts, 0630/1830 and 1830-0630, variable shifts, must work Nights/Days throughout contract- Currently 8/26/2025 mostly night shift needed but variable is based on needs
  • Weekend rotation: every other; potentially less as I have many caregivers who prefer weekends
  • No call
  • Holiday Expectations: holidays as needed
